Daisy \da(i)-sy\ — Old English origin, and its meaning is the eye of the day in reference to the sun-like disc at the center of a daisy, surrounded by a ring of white petals, or as I prefer it, day’s eye or dayseye.

Here’s to a new life, outside The Agency.

Though not new to blogging, I am returning from a long sabbatical from the blogosphere. Once I went only by my online alias, Dayseye, and was a very avid and dedicated enthusiast of:

  • Crafting, Crochet and Sewing
  • 4H, Rabbits and County Fairs
  • Anime and Television Dramas
  • Drama Club and ITS
  • Traveling and Languages
  • Chinese Dance

Having dedicated myself to school and work, spending five years earning my two bachelor degrees and building my internship resume and another two years developing my professional career in public relations at a boutique and large agency, I find myself in loss of a niche to which I am really that dedicated.

But now, after I after making the move to doing in-house public relations, I find myself inspired to blog again. First I tried to create a dedicated blog about a former hobby but I found myself not as interested as I used to be. Now I have created Life After The Agency | dayseye.wordpress.com as a personal blog where I have set out to find my enthusiasm.

Eventually, blog will begin to take a more definite shape and perhaps branch into specific topics. But for now, I write about my life today, which consists of:
